The Starting Point
Judit is a modern superhero: a mom, a lawyer, a mediator, a consultant, and a success coach. After years working in a 9 to 5 office job, she realized she needed new challenges and is ready to take her career to the next level. She was ready to launch her coaching & consulting business and chose us to be her partner in designing her custom website, creating her first eBook, and building her online brand.
The Process
We started right at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic forced us all to stay home and change our daily routines. With a positive mindset, Judit looked at this new situation as an opportunity to dedicate her full focus and time to launching her business online. We knew we had a complex project with many moving parts ahead of us right after our first meeting. Our number one priority was designing a beautiful custom website, that represents her taste and personality that she can proudly share with her clients. Questions around online marketing and branding were also on the table from day one.
Judit had very clear ideas and goals. She knew the color palette and the vibe she was going for. She wanted to do all the copywriting and content creation for the website. We agreed to be involved only for the SEO aspect of the writing process, which turned out to be an efficient collaboration. There was no rush. We wanted take our time brainstorming, perfecting ideas, and the final design. This mindset gave us room to work on creative and unique solutions. We had time to work out the details, and to test and re-think ideas as we moved forward.
The Highlight
Web design is never a linear process, while we do have a project plan, we want to make sure there is room for changing and evolving visions. This approach worked really well with Judit. We met with her every week at least once, but sometimes even more often. Talking through the next steps and working together on every detail. As a good coach, she kept us all motivated and focused on the goal even at challenging times. Working with her thought us a lot about the value of open and ongoing communication throughout the web design process.
